Evening Prayer; “The Patrick Compline”
This evening prayer, attributed to Saturday night in the book Celtic Daily Prayer is traditionally called the “Patrick Compline”. St. Patrick (389-461) is famously known as the “Apostle to Ireland”. He was a former slave in Ireland, who, after escaping, returned voluntarily to his captures as a priest and fearless evangelist.
Catching now up on the Complines from Celtic Daily Prayers. Thank you.
Thanks, John! Blessings to you in Thailand! 🙂
