God’s Love #2 – The Secret

Here in England, and I think our concert in the park will be canceled tonight for the first time ever because of the classic English rain! We’re watching it hit the window now, and wondering what to do…

In the meantime though, here’s installment #2: A song by a great guy and unique artist. This tune has been stuck in my head for over 10 years now. It’s been a constant source of encouragement. My prayer is that you’ll take a moment to REALLY listen to this song…let it soak in, like an English downpour…maybe it’ll get stuck in your head, too, and that’s a good thing!

God’s Love #1 – The Question

…just stumbled across this great video of Brennan Manning – had to share it! It’s got me inspired to do a short series of articles related to the ridiculous extravagance of God’s love for us. I believe receiving and resting in God’s love could be our most important pursuit ever, because whatever actions we take or obedience we display to God has to come from a realization of being LOVED, or it’s empty, you know?

There’s several things in my life that have helped me grasp a little bit of this idea, and I hope to post them individually every few weeks or so for a bit.
